This storyline came with so many curves, twists and turns that it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Cora is living with her stepfather after the death of her mother, getting ready to enter her senior year of high school after turning eighteen. He has been her only dad for over ten years, so when she notices that things are getting a little strange, she's not sure what to do. With all the changes her body has gone through in the last couple of months, she is uncomfortable around her stepfather and his poker buddies, but she knows that he has a volatile temper so she does her best to keep things on an even keel.
When she first meets Maddox, he is there to play poker with her stepfather and his other friends. There is an instant connection between the two of them and she feels the sexual energy between them when he corners her in her bedroom after her stepfather humiliates her. He leaves her wanting more from him after introducing her to his fingers. She is then stunned when he turns out to be the new English teacher. With secrets on both sides, things get hot and steamy and then crashes when she finds out that her stepfather actually hired him. Turns out her stepfather was Maddox's lawyer.
Lots of steamy sexy times and desires to be resolved. Very interesting take on the teacher and student affair. Well worth the time and money to purchase this and read it. Very well defined characters.

I never thought I'd enjoy the whole daddy dynamic but this guy was hot as hell... great book. I'll be looking for more daddies in my future.
The storyline was great, the intrigue and why continue almost till the end. The relationship between the characters was really interesting and everything was explained clearly. I really like the gradual evolution of the relationship of Cora and "Daddy", it made sense in a kinda out there way. The ending really made you feel good and that things finally happen the way you want. Can't wait to read it again.
Both Starling and Donovan have a knack for writing dark and twisted romance, and this is no different. If you like your read sexy, angsty and dark, with a good little virgin and a true alpha man who wants to be called Daddy, then you'll love this one.
Maddox relationship to women are only to corrupt, devour and get tired of them. But then he's presented to the possibility to turn Cora naughty. But what Maddox doesn't predicts is how much Cora wants him to teach her.
I loved the twist in the storyline!
Isabella and Demi have written another hot little number with Teach Me Daddy. This book may not be for some as it has a DD/lg relationship. If you have no problem with that and love an intense and sexy read then check this book out.
The chemistry between Maddox and Cora was palpable as they meet for the first time and only intensifies as the story goes. There are some dark twists along the way that have you asking what's going to happen. The intimate scenes between Maddox and Cora are scorching, leaving you squirming in your seat ready to say Yes, Daddy.
Ok so ummm... WOW!!!
Teach Me Daddy is so friggin HOT!!! I want a Maddox for myself!!!!!!! This book is full of steam and sizzle, yet that's not all. It's about realizing who you are and not giving a damn cuz it feels so damn good!!!

This was a book that surprised me in all the best ways. Initially, I had avoided it because I prefer more light-hearted books and I've found that romances labeled as "dark" tend to have far too much abuse for my tastes, or the H is a completely unlikable character. This story skirted the edges of those issues, and while there was definitely some darkness, the H and h were both well-rounded, relatable characters who grew toward each other during the story.
We start with our H, Maddox, being coerced into moving near our h, Cora, to seduce and break her. There isn't a lot of suspense regarding the step-father, who is immediately painted as being a sleaze. There is also a heavy dose of insta-love/lust which is something I love in my stories, and I thought the authors did very well in balancing out the fact that Maddox and the step-dad both wanted the same thing from Cora, but in completely different ways. Maddox is restrained and protective with Cora, and while he does cross the line, it's because she invites him to do so. Okay, she practically attacks him, lol. The authors clearly contrasted that with the step-dad, who humiliates and coerces Cora frequently and leaves her unable to say no to his advances. As the story progresses, Cora chooses to keep the amount of abuse to herself in order to protect Maddox, which I loved, since it gave the h an opportunity to protect and defend the H in a way that you don't often see in romances. She wasn't weak or blaming herself at any point - she knew that her situation was bad and she was working hard to get out of it in the best way she knew.
Maddox does spend a lot of time in the story beating himself up about being a bad person, and while it doesn't go over-the-top, it is a bit frustrating since the reveal on his history doesn't come until late in the book. In the end, his character turns out to be more of an imperfect protector who struggles than a true bad boy, and when the climax of the book hits and Cora finds out why he's really there, the authors once again managed to keep some realistic tension without adding a ridiculous amount of drama before we get our HEA.
This book also leans more toward erotica, and obviously you're going to find some DD/lg play going on, as many of the other reviews state. But I felt the authors balanced it out nicely with a well-developed plot and scenes that were spread out in a logical manner throughout.
The writing was clear and well done, and the editing was good, with only a few very minor typos that I caught in the entire book. I did take one star off because some of the timeline details didn't make any sense to me and a couple of the scenes toward the end were in the wrong order - Cora's in college, then suddenly she's back in high school, then she's back in college. If I could have, I would have only taken off a half of a star for those issues. I definitely recommend if you're interested in the themes this book presents, and will be adding these authors to my watch list.
